Role Statement

The Lifestyle Programs are in place at the Residential Aged Care Homes located at Creswick, Daylesford and Trentham. The Wellbeing and Engagement Coordinator is responsible for the development, organisation and evaluation of person-centred activities that enhance the psychological, spiritual, social, emotional, and physical wellbeing of residents. This position is an overarching role of all three of the health service Residential Aged Care Homes. There is an expectation that the successful applicant will work a minimum of one day per week at each campus ensuring the smooth implementation of the lifestyle programs at each site and providing support and guidance to the lifestyle assistants.

Details of Appointment:   64 Hours:    This role is new to our organisation and a period of 6 months will be granted to the sucessful applicant.  If the role is successful there is a strong possibility of the role becoming ongoing.

Central Highlands Rural Health (CHRH) is a rural health organisation that operates five campuses across Hepburn Shire and the Macedon Ranges in the Central Highlands of Victoria in Australia, north and north-west of Melbourne. It was formed through the voluntary amalgamation of Hepburn Health Service and Kyneton District Health on the 30th November 2019. Each of our campuses retains the name of the township in which they are situated - Clunes Health, Creswick Health, Daylesford Health, Kyneton Health, and Trentham Health.

All appointments to Central Highlands Rural Health are subject to a satisfactory clearance of a National Police Check and NDIS. Successful applicants will be required to provide evidence of an immunisation assessment prior to commencement. It is mandatory for all employees who work within the Health Care Sector have their flu vaccinations. Evidence must be provided prior to commencement with Central Health Rural Health.
