Team Leader

THE ROLE

The Team Leader, Tenancy Services provides leadership to a team of Tenancy and Resident Services Officers and is a key point of contact for all things regarding resident tenancy services across Disability Homes Victoria's (DHV) Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA). 

The Tenancy Services team provide high quality and timely advice to residents and Supported Independent Living (SIL) providers regarding housing and tenancy matters.  The priority of the Tenancy Services team is resident satisfaction and upholding DHV's values.  The Team Leader plays a critical role in managing team dynamics, fostering collaboration, and promoting a positive, resident-focused culture.  Additionally, the Team Leader provides mentorship and guidance to team members, while being accountable for tenancy service delivery. This position is to cover East and South portfolio, and support four staff within East and South team.  

ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

2. Build positive working relationships with residents and SIL providers to deliver resident-centred tenancy services across the DHV SDA portfolio to ensure effective, efficient, and coordinated services are provided to all residents.
3. Utilise effective stakeholder management mechanisms to identify, monitor, and mitigate potential risks and identify and implement service improvement.
