About the role:
The Senior Program Officer works within a small team which leads engagement with, and performance management of, statewide and specialist mental health and wellbeing services. The role involves developing effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including both health services and non-government organisations. The Senior Program Officer will provide advice on service delivery risks and mitigations, service improvements and the role and function of specialist services within the broader mental health and wellbeing system. To be successful in this role you will have strong conceptual and analytical abilities and strategic planning and communication skills, along with the ability to work within and understand the mental health and wellbeing system, the broader health system, and government processes.

- An understanding of the Victorian health system, and knowledge of the department and its operating processes and information systems is desirable.
