About the role:
The Principal Pharmacist Adviser is a key partner to the Department of Health in the Community Pharmacist Program and will provide leadership and expertise in the development of the clinical protocols for the Program related to the quality use of medicines, with the aim of reducing medicines related preventable harm and to improve patient outcomes in Victoria. The incumbent will provide advice to the Community Pharmacist Program, and particularly the Chief Allied Health Officer.

About you:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent
- Registration with AHPRA as a pharmacist with no practice restrictions
- Postgraduate qualifications or research experience in clinical pharmacy, clinical quality and safety or public health would be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated expertise in providing expert advice relating to therapeutic guidelines and drug approvals
- Previous experience working in the health sector as a senior pharmacist
