About the roles
The Learning and OD team is seeking two senior consultants (part time applications considered).
The Fixed Term role will lead the design and implementation of a learning framework to support leadership development at Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) to develop and implement programs targeted towards different leadership levels. The role will deliver and facilitate training, as well as identify suitable external providers to provide learning on behalf of VLA. The role will focus on enhancing VLA leadership capability to engage staff so that they successfully contribute towards VLA's strategic directions.
The Ongoing role will support, develop and implement generalist initiatives designed to enhance staff engagement. This role is responsible for the People Matter Survey, our mentoring program and other projects that enhance staff capability to enable VLA to meet its strategic directions.
This role is based at our Melbourne CBD office on Wurundjeri Country.
About you
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
- Demonstrated experience in analysing learning needs and designing and implementing high quality, successful learning programs.
- Ability to work with qualitative and quantitative data to develop insights and recommendations that improve the employee experience and organisational performance.
- Demonstrated experience in developing capability frameworks and associated programs to support their implementation, including leadership frameworks.
- Demonstrated capacity to consult with key stakeholders in analysing learning and organisation development needs, propose options, implement solutions and evaluate success.
- Demonstrated high quality and engaging facilitation skills with an ability to engage effectively with a wide range of people from diverse backgrounds.
- Well-developed stakeholder engagement, communication, collaboration skills with a proven ability to influence at all levels in an organisation.
- A knowledge of the general business of VLA and a commitment to our vision and values.
