Operations Officer

THE ROLE

The Operations Officer plays a key role implementing operational plans, processes and strategies to help ensure the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (the department) can respond to an emergency impacting the Victorian community at any time. The role also plays an important part in the operational response to emergencies and provides important subject matter expertise during emergency operations.

ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

• Provide advice on the implementation of policy and operational practice.
• Establish standardised operational models for state operations.
• Assist with the implementation of guidelines, procedures, systems and standardised practices for emergency operations.
