Position Title: Registered Nurse – Geroe Unit    

Classification: YP3 to YP9              

Salary per hour:  $42.53 to $52.82 + superannuation + generous salary packaging options         

Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract full-time OR Fixed Term Contract Part-time hours available per fortnight until 29^th November 2026

Award: Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Health Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024 -2028

 

Role description

The Geroe Unit is actively seeking compassionate and skilled individuals to join our team in a diverse working environment, encompassing a mixed medical-surgical ward, an Urgent Care Centre, and post-natal support for a Level 2 Maternity Service. This dynamic role involves working across all shifts, seven days a week, primarily on the medical-surgical ward, with additional support for the Urgent Care Centre as needed. The successful applicant will showcase strong clinical skills, exceptional communication, and collaboration abilities, along with the capacity to perform effectively under pressure. Ideally, candidates will have demonstrated recent experience in an acute/urgent care setting, emphasizing effective infection control practices and a dedicated commitment to continuous quality improvement. • Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
• Comprehensive assessment, care planning, care delivery and evaluation skills
• Sound level of communication skills
