Allied Health Assistant (Community Health & Wellbeing)

About this role

In collaboration with the multidisciplinary Allied Health team and under the direction of allied health professionals (AHP), this role provides low intensity, individual, group and home-based therapeutic activities to clients in accordance with their individualised care plan and goals. The AHA role includes provision of physical, cognitive and social stimulation and encourages client independence. Allied Health Assistant's may assist the Allied Health Department with administration tasks, equipment management, audits and day to day operations and supports required by Allied Health Professionals.

AHA's are a valuable contributor to our Allied Health Team and will always be provided the appropriate amount of support and supervision, related to an individual's qualifications and skills, by the relevant Allied Health Professional.

Details of Appointment: Permanent full-time position working 76 hours per fortnight. Applications requesting part time hours are welcome to apply.

Salary: Dependent on experience and qualifications, as per award + superannuation.
