What you will be doing

Reporting to the Manager, Surge Recruitment, you'll be a key member of our election staffing team whose key purpose is to deliver all the staffing required for major electoral events.

In this role, you will:

• Coordinate VPS recruitment and secondment campaigns, from drafting job ads to candidate screening, and supporting interview panels.
• Help deliver scalable and compliant staffing models for major electoral events.
• Contribute to key projects within election staffing, including surge recruitment, capability uplift and development of staffing pools.
• Preparing reports, documentation, and advice for the Event Strategy and Delivery leadership team.

What you will bring to the role

• Proven experience in full cycle recruitment including volume candidate assessment and selection.
• Experience working on operational projects with fixed deadlines, where you keep things moving and monitor progress.
• The ability to pivot quickly and adapt to the dynamic needs of election staffing
• Strong interpersonal skills and confidence to build relationships across many stakeholder groups
• Confidence in using systems or data tools to support business operations, with strong attention to data accuracy and integrity.
