- Salary Range: $78,977.60 - $91,785.20 pro rata, plus superannuation
About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking a motivated and qualified Pharmacist to join our dynamic and expanding hospital pharmacy team. As part of a collaborative workforce of pharmacists, technicians, an intern and broader support staff, you will contribute to delivering high quality, patient centred care across our regional health service. This role offers the opportunity to work within a highly functioning clinical team, providing ward based pharmacy services, drug information, as well as inpatient and outpatient support.
In this pivotal role, you will work closely with interprofessional teams to ensure medication safety, support clinical decisionm aking and optimise patient outcomes. Ideal for pharmacists who thrive in a varied and fast paced hospital environment, this position provides meaningful patient interaction and the opportunity to make a real impact on care delivery. The pharmacy team participates in a rotating roster, which includes some weekends, public holidays, early shifts and on-call coverage.
What you bring
- The successful applicants must hold a recognised Bachelor of Pharmacy from an approved tertiary institution.
- Hold general registration as a Pharmacist by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), with no restrictions to practice.
- Experience in the provision of hospital pharmacy services is highly desirable, but not a requirement, as this is an entry level hospital position.
- Process good time management and organisational skills.
- Be familiar with the National Standards Accreditation Requirements.
