About Us
Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission.
Collectively, Victoria's Supreme, County, Magistrates', Children's, and Coroners courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Judicial College of Victoria, the Judicial Commission of Victoria, and Court Services Victoria (CSV) are referred to as the ‘Courts Group'.

VCAT
The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) is a justice service that resolves a wide range of disputes for the Victorian community, including renting, planning, and consumer disputes. VCAT is committed to delivering an accessible service for all Victorians and is transforming our digital products and services to make it faster, easier, and more convenient for people to come to the tribunal.
About the Role
Reporting to the Manager, Listings, the Transcripts Coordinator, works between front-of-house (public facing) and back-of-house (internal facing) services, to provide transcripts and recordings, of VCAT matters to users, Members and staff. The Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day fulfilment of requests and works with VCAT's designated, external providers, to ensure transcripts and recordings are seamlessly delivered for all parties and stakeholders.
The role works with a range of in-house, VCAT and CSV systems, as well as a wide range of internal stakeholders. This role is a blend of systems support and service delivery. The Coordinator also works closely with the Registrar Complaints in response to following up matters requiring investigation.
Under direction, from the Executive Director and Registrar, Legal Services, the Coordinator also provides an avenue, for VCAT, to undertake transcripts and recordings audit, to ensure compliance of VCAT's transcript and recording services, is upheld, across all VCAT platforms and venues. The Clerk acts as a subject matter expert, for all staff, relating to training and support for transcripts and recordings.
This position is fixed term until 17 March 2027

Qualifications
Experience working in a courts and hearings environment, with a knowledge of in-room and remote transcript and recording devices will be an advantage
