What you will be doing
Reporting directly to Manager, Central Processing Centre (CPC), the Coordinator, Postal Voting supports the planning and delivery of postal voting operations for the 2026 State Election. The role helps coordinate activities within the CPC, ensuring postal vote processing is conducted accurately and in line with legislative requirements.
This role will be responsible for:
- Supporting the planning and delivery of the Central Processing Centre (CPC), including postal voting, for the State election 2026.
- Train, supervise and monitor large teams (could be up to 100 staff) through team supervisors.
- Act as the primary escalation point for supervisors during operational delivery.
- Plan and coordinate the issuing of replacement votes for local government by-elections and undertake signature scrutiny of returned postal ballots.
What you will bring to the role
- Demonstrated ability to plan, manage and implement large-scale projects, including overseeing staff
- and coordinating multiple workstreams within allocated budgets. Past election project experience is
- desirable.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management skills, including establishing and maintaining effective
- working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead, manage and motivate teams to deliver high-quality services in a mission-critical, legislatively compliant environment.
- Strong written and verbal communications skill with demonstrated experience in developing procedural documentation, reports and using communication to influence and persuade.
