About the role
Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) is seeking an engaged and client focused administrator to join our team in Gippsland. Our Gippsland team comprises of staff across both Morwell and Bairnsdale offices and occasional travel to either office location may be required for training.
Reporting to the Administrative Services Manager, you will provide essential administrative support to our lawyers, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
This role is based at our Bairnsdale office on Gunaikurnai Country.
About you

- Demonstrated ability to deliver client-focused services in complex, confidential, and sensitive settings.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication across diverse backgrounds.
- Proficiency in word processing and the Microsoft Office suite.
- A track record of commitment to collaborative teamwork and achieving collective goals.
- Experience providing administrative &/or reception support, ideally within a legal environment (highly desirable).
