Job Description
About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking an experienced Radiographer (Medical Imaging Technologist) to provide high quality diagnostic medical imaging examinations on inpatients and other patients referred by medical practitioners, whilst maintaining and adhering to safety procedures to optimise patient safety and comfort during radiology examinations.
The Radiology Clinic is located opposite the front reception at Camperdown Base Hospital open Monday to Friday. Being one of the few Radiology services available within the Corangamite Shire, the clinic has a general x-ray machine, imaging intensifier, a mobile machine and also supports the onsite operating theatre with procedural needs as required.

- Salary Range: $57.08 - $65.62 per hour (casual loading included), plus superannuation
What you bring
The successful applicant will have a strong awareness of all aspects of radiation safety and an ability to interact effectively with patients and other staff, you will demonstrate a continuous commitment to improving skills and education in medical imaging and good communication skills.
An appropriate medical imaging qualification recognised by the Australian Institute of Radiation, current Victorian radiation use licence and current registration with AHPRA are essential.
