Role description

Dhelkaya Health Maldon Campus are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) to provide strong clinical leadership and support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care within our unit.

As an ANUM, you will work as the clinical leader and coordinator of an interdisciplinary team, ensuring safe, effective, and evidence-based care for clients and their significant others. This role is pivotal in supporting staff, maintaining clinical standards, and contributing to the day-to-day management of the unit in collaboration with the Nurse Unit Manager.

 

 

About you

• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent. Post graduate qualification where a specialty area requires this to fulfil the full duties of the position.
• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
• Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and leadership capability
• Ability to practise within scope and provide effective supervision and direction to others
• Strong communication, organisational, and decision-making skills
• Commitment to person-centred care and professional nursing practice
• Previous leadership or ANUM experience (desirable)
