Position Details
THE ROLE
The Project Officer within the Service Access & Crisis Accommodation team supports the program management and development of specialist intake services and crisis accommodation services across the state.
You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to help progress the development and implementation of various time-critical projects. The role includes the provision of support for key projects and programs, and assisting in the preparation of briefings, papers, data acquittals and analysis, presentations, reports and other documentation.
Applicants should possess strong written skills, conceptual and analytical abilities, project management skills, and be collaborative. Familiarity with the specialist family violence service system including referral pathways and crisis responses would be a strong advantage.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Contribute to the full life cycle of projects to meet departmental objectives including:
- Assisting in research, analysis and implementation of projects based on defined outcomes and outputs.
- Supporting the development and delivery of projects or sub-projects and their successful delivery and completion within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters.
- Contributing to the monitoring and evaluation of projects to ensure departmental objectives are met.
- Where responsible for overseeing, monitoring or delivering projects, ensure they are delivered in accordance with relevant legislation and government regulations and guidelines.
- Assist in providing advice to stakeholders and assisting in the preparation and presentation of reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions on a range of matters.
