Position Details
THE ROLE
The Director, High Rise Redevelopment (HRP) Finance leads a collaborative and innovative team responsible for oversight of financial matters for the High-rise Redevelopment Program. The role will monitor the Program's financial performance aspects and ensure financial activities comply with the Government's financial management framework and departmental requirements.
The Director, HRP Finance will lead, manage and provide expert, authoritative advice to senior leadership for all financial matters of the High-rise Redevelopment Program including but not limited to coordinating, reviewing and consolidating project specific financial reports at a program level on demolition works, redevelopment works and contribute to the development of project delivery cases and funding submissions.
Are you:
- Able to lead and manage the financial aspects of a large-scale government construction program?
- Experienced in leading, managing and delivering timely, comprehensive and authoritative financial advice in a large-scale government project delivery environment?
- Experienced in leading and managing organisational compliance with all statutory, departmental and professional standards including the Financial Management Act and, ministerial directions, Australian Accounting Standards, all Australian (State and Federal) tax legislation and policies and procedures of the Central Agencies?
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Develop and lead the financial management of the program, including the implementation, monitoring and review of financial systems, policies and procedures, ensuring the Program business requirements are met and comply with relevant government legislation, directives and accounting standards.
- Provide leadership and direction to a team responsible for budgeting, forecasting, monitoring and reporting requirements, including directing outputs for the analysis and modelling of cost, revenue, financing structures and funding sources to info of all rm strategic financial planning and decision-making.
- Lead the management program finances and the related implementation of relevant project budget management systems across the teams. This includes but not limited to the management of reporting functions including the development and monitoring of program budget over 15 years.
