About the role
In May 2026, ACMI will open Reverb. This presents an opportunity for current VX Guides to take up a limited number of part time fixed term roles. Reporting to a team of VX Supervisors, the role is responsible for gallery invigilation, the delivery of talks, tours, introductions to visiting groups and the provision of a consistently exceptional visitor experience. VX Guides may also be required to work in other areas of Visitor Experience operations.
What you'll bring to the role
- Your experience working for ACMI's Visitor Experience team.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage members of the public by presenting a working knowledge of exhibition concepts to enhance the visitor experience.
- Experience in delivering talks and tours to groups.
- Strong attention to detail, and the ability to provide an energetic and proactive service to visitors.
- A current Victorian Working with Children Check is required.
