- Salary Range: $94,478.80 - $106,906.80 pro rata, plus superannuation
About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking a motivated and experienced Dietitian to join our team at our Camperdown campus. This role is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive team of dietitians, delivering high-quality, evidence-based nutrition and dietetic services across a variety of clinical settings.
As a Grade 2 Dietitian, you will be responsible for:
- Providing evidence-based dietetic services to:
o Inpatients
o Community clients
o Aged care residents
- Offering consultancy and support to the Food Services Department
This position offers an excellent opportunity to further develop your leadership, clinical, and service development skills within a dynamic and supportive environment. Travel to other South West Healthcare campuses will be required as part of this role
What you bring
- A university qualification in Dietetics that meets the accreditation guidelines of Dietitians Australia Eligibility for (or current) Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience in a Grade 2 Dietitian role (preferred), or a broad range of Grade 1 experience with a minimum of 4 years in Dietetics
- A strong commitment to ongoing education and professional development Experience in clinical nutrition (essential); paediatric clinical nutrition (desirable)
- A demonstrated broad range of clinical skills
- Proven leadership capabilities
- The ability to work effectively in partnership with multidisciplinary teams and key stakeholders
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Experience in supervising student dietitians
- A proactive attitude and willingness to develop and implement programs to support service delivery
