- Salary Range: $76,289.01 - $87,219.60 pro rata, plus superannuation
South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking Psychiatric Enrolled Nurses to join our dedicated Mental Health Acute Inpatient Unit (MHAIU) in Warrnambool. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive environment where recovery-oriented care is at the heart of everything we do. Our inpatient services provide 24/7 best-practice nursing care and are closely linked with our Mental Health Community teams and the Prevention and Recovery Centre, ensuring consumers and their families receive comprehensive, high-quality support across the South West region.
About the role
As a Psychiatric Enrolled Nurse, you will:
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver person-centred care
- Undertake consumer assessments and contribute to clinical care planning
- Support consumers and carers in their recovery journey
- Promote and maintain a safe, high-quality therapeutic environment
- Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives and service innovation
What you bring
We are looking for passionate and skilled Enrolled Nurses who are committed to mental health care and recovery. You will bring:
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Experience in providing psychiatric nursing care in mental health environments (inpatient or community).
- Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of contemporary practice, legislation, and regulation in mental health nursing.
