I am pleased to invite expressions of interest from current ongoing and fixed term employees from DEECA to act as Manager, Offshore Wind Ports - Offshore Wind Energy Division. Fixed-term employees may only be placed in this vacancy for the remainder of their existing contract term and casual and agency employees are ineligible.
The Manager, Offshore Wind Ports leads a small team including external advisors to develop the Offshore Wind port strategy for the Victorian offshore wind projects. The Ports workstream will seek to address the needs of offshore wind farm developers and identify and develop port opportunities.
The Manager will liaise closely with central agencies and DTP to develop a strategy that can be implemented by the State to support delivery of the first tranche of offshore wind for Victoria. The suitable candidate for this role will be an experienced and capable policy/project and people manager, who is adept at managing ambiguity, has an agile mindset, open to learning from the experiences in international jurisdictions, is familiar with infrastructure projects or port development and has the ability to lead by example with their approach to work.
