Job Description
Position: Registered Nurse - Surgical Services Unit
- Employment Type: Permanent Part Time (48 hours per fortnight)
- Location: Warrnambool Campus
- Classification: Registered Nurse Grade 2
- Salary: $86,580-$107,510 pro rata, plus superannuation
About the role
An exciting opportunity is now available for a Registered Nurse to join the Surgical Services team at South West Healthcare during an exciting period of growth and transformation. A major redevelopment is currently underway, delivering state of the art facilities and shaping the future of healthcare across our region.
Our Surgical Services Unit provides care across a broad range of elective and emergency specialties including Orthopaedics, Plastics, Urology and General Surgery. You will work within a skilled, supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary team, delivering safe, high quality, patient-centred care across the surgical journey.
This role offers variety, strong clinical exposure and the opportunity to further develop your surgical nursing skills in a well supported and fast paced environment. It is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a busy setting and is seeking a permanent part-time role that offers both stability and professional growth.
What you bring
The successful applicant will:
- Hold current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse, with a minimum of 12 months relevant experience, ideally in a surgical setting
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient-centred care, confidentiality, and safe clinical practice
- Bring excellent time management, organisation, and communication skills
- Show a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
