The opportunity
The Payroll Operations Team Leader is responsible for the preparation of the SRO's fortnightly payroll, and for providing accurate, timely and efficient payroll operations within the SRO.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Fortnightly Pay Processing
- Escalation where complex resolution required
- Manage three direct reports
- Processing EBA increases and entitlement changes
- Contributions to Payroll systems and project initiatives
Who we are looking for
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated that you are an experienced people leader with the ability to clearly define role expectations, monitor performance, provide timely and constructive feedback and facilitate employee development.
- Possess well developed analytical and conceptual skills to assist in complex problem resolution.
- Proven administration and organisational skills to initiate and organise own workload and work to tight deadlines often with conflicting deadlines.
- Have relevant HRIS with demonstrated experience in using CHRIS21 or equivalent HRIS to perform report writing and applicable master file changes.
- High level proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including advanced MS Excel ability.
