About the role
The Manager, Change, Implementation and Adoption is responsible for leading a cross-skilled teamthat delivers change, adoption and capability strategies across Digital Transformation and Technology (DTT) initiatives. Overseeing the planning & execution of change management and training across digital transformation initiatives, the role provides leadership to the team across complex, high-value technology programs, ensuring alignment with organisational frameworks and best practice methodologies.
Reporting to the Manager, Digital Experience and Change this role will support the delivery of DTT's change management strategy and supports the successful embedding of digital changes across the organisation.
This role is based at our Melbourne CBD office on Wurundjeri Country.
About you
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
- Significant experience and expertise in managing complex change management programs, preferably in the government, justice, health or social services sector, with a deep understanding of how people go through change in order to achieve organisational goals and meet service improvements.
- Skills in leading and managing a team with diverse skills and experience to deliver high quality outcomes through effective planning, workload allocation, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, including an engaging ability to coach and develop others.
- Demonstrated experience conceptualising, writing and editing strategies, plans and communications materials to a high standard using a variety of channels, including the ability to apply plain language expertise across multiple target audiences.
- Experience with translating data and complex issues into practical actions that build positive working relationships, drive engagement, and influence culture.
- Demonstrated knowledge of change management methodologies, organisational readiness, adoption strategies and behavioural change principles.
- Project management skills with the capacity to manage, monitor and coordinate resources, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing priorities to ensure the delivery of project outcomes on time.
- Demonstrated experience working with First Nations people, including an understanding of the cultural norms, communication styles and complex issues experienced by First Nations peoples in Australia.
