Position Details
THE ROLE
As Senior Practice Adviser, you will be responsible for supporting the work of the Chief Practitioner in the development and implementation of the new practice approach for statutory Child Protection and other projects as required.
The Senior Practice Adviser role works across the Child Protection program with key stakeholders such as the Statewide Principal Practitioners, Children and Families Division and external stakeholders on matters relating to Child Protection practice development.
The role operates within a dynamic environment that requires flexibility, the capacity to exercise sound judgement and the ability to take effective, timely action.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Provide leadership, and guidance and authoritative advice to the Chief Practitioner in relation to Child Protection practice, specifically in the context of the development and embedding of the new practice approach.
- Apply subject matter expertise to the review and revision of existing practice content and resources and develop new content and resources relevant to the new practice approach for the Child Protection workforce.
- Provide expert and authoritative advice, reasoned recommendations and innovative options and solutions relevant to Child Protection practice.
