About the business unit
Fines and Enforcement Services (FES) is a business unit within the Department of Justice and Community Safety's Courts, Civil and Criminal Law Group. FES is responsible for managing Victoria's end-to-end fines and infringement system and includes Enforcement and Support Services (ESS) and the Sheriff's Office Victoria.
The Systems Monitoring Unit (SMU) manages key business-critical IT systems that support FES operations, including the Victorian Infringement Enforcement and Warrants (VIEW) system. The team provides system support, investigation, configuration management, operational reporting, and governance services to ensure the effective operation of systems that underpin Victoria's fines and enforcement processes.
About this role
The Change Control Coordinator reports into the Senior Manager Systems Monitoring Unit and supports the coordination and tracking of IT changes across the VIEW system, Fines Victoria Website and the Work Development Permit Scheme (WDP) portal. Ensuring changes are appropriately assessed, approved, implemented and reviewed in line with governance requirements within Fines and Enforcement Services..
This role provides development opportunities in IT Change Management, governance and stakeholder engagement, with exposure to critical business systems and operational environments.
Key Accountabilities:
- Support for internal and external stakeholders requesting any system functionality change requests.
- Facilitate engagement to resolve issues between stakeholders and subject matter experts regarding the progress and status of Change requests.
- Develop and maintain records for tracking Change Requests and related correspondence though the cycle from submission to implementation.
- Actively manage the change process for VIEW, Work Development Permit Scheme portal (WDP), Fines Victoria Website systems changes, including Change Advisory Board (CAB).
EOIs must be submitted by 24 June 2026 to be considered for this role.
