Salary per hour: $60.93 + superannuation + generous salary packaging options

Employment Type: Ongoing part-time 64 hours per fortnight

Award: Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Health Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024 -2028

 

Role description

Ellery House is seeking a motivated and experienced Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) to join our team. In this role, you will act as a clinical leader and coordinator, supporting the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care within a multidisciplinary environment.

Working in partnership with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), you will play a key role in ensuring safe, effective, and efficient care while supporting staff development and fostering a positive team culture.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and coordination of the interdisciplinary team
• Deliver and support person-centred, evidence-based care
• Demonstrate advanced clinical skills in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
• Supervise, support, and mentor nursing and support staff
• Ensure care delivery meets professional, organisational, and regulatory standards
• Assist with unit management, including staffing coordination and workflow
• Promote a safe, collaborative, and patient-focused environment

 

About you

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
• Demonstrated clinical experience in [relevant specialty]
• Proven leadership skills and ability to coordinate teams effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to person-centred care and continuous improvement
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
