EOI - Director, Incoming Government Briefings

Corporate Services Group is pleased to invite expressions of interest from current ongoing and fixed term employees from DEECA to act as Director, Incoming Government Briefings. (Fixed-term employees may only be placed in this vacancy for the remainder of their existing contract term)

The Director, Incoming Government Briefings will coordinate and advise on DEECA's preparation of incoming government briefing advice (‘books'), including content on the implementation of election commitments (Priority Initiatives Papers (PIPs) and Key Election Commitments (KECs)). The role is responsible for driving a coordinated approach to tracking election commitments through the election commitment database, and for providing advice on the preparation of portfolio briefing products. Working in close partnership with Deputy Secretaries, Executive Directors and policy teams, the role will ensure alignment with Department of Premier and Cabinet requirements and support relevant governance forums, including the Incoming Government Coordinating Committee (IGCC), to support coordinated, whole‑of‑government preparation and delivery.

Location: Flexible within Victoria, but 8 Nicholson Street preferred

Reporting to: Sally Fensling, Deputy Secretary, Corporate Services Group
