Position Details
THE ROLE
The current Housing Outcome and Partnership branch's Directorate unit will become known as the Program Coordination and Support (PCS) Team from 1 July. The PCS team will be focused on consolidating the branch's administrative function that will allow a more strategic oversight of branch activities to implement and contribute to Homes Victoria's vision of More and Better Homes for Victorians.
The Senior Project Adviser will work closely with the Manager Directorate Services/PCS to provide project management support, manage priority projects and support quality improvement initiatives. In particular the Senior Project Adviser is responsible for all aspects of the briefing system for the branch, including the allocation of requests that require analysis of complex and sensitive matters and excellent networking and relationship management. This role is required to provide qualitative and informed advice to the Executive Director and Manager to mitigate the development of potential risks and to work effectively as a member of a team in providing support across the branch.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Lead and manage the department's brief management system, Brief Connect, for HOP branch
- Liaise and co-ordinate with peers/teams across Homes Victoria to deliver projects and outcomes in line with the department's objectives and Victorian Government obligations i.e. PAEC, Yoorrook Justice Commission WoVG response, People Matter working group
- Coordinate and support timely delivery of submissions, briefings, correspondence, parliamentary business and responses to corporate and government requirements (products) to a high standard of quality
