HSRP36/VPS3/Project Officer Cancer Policy and Specialist Programs

The Project Officer provides project, policy and administrative support to the Cancer Policy and Specialist Programs team to assist with the delivery of priority initiatives. The role supports project planning, documentation, reporting and coordination activities, helping ensure projects progress on time and to required standards. It contributes to tasks such as preparing briefs and correspondence, tracking milestones, organising meetings and maintaining accurate project records. Success in this role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment. The Project Support Officer is a key contributor to effective communication, stakeholder coordination and smooth project delivery across the team.

The role supports project planning, documentation, reporting and coordination activities, helping ensure projects progress on time and to required standards. It contributes to tasks such as preparing briefs and correspondence, tracking milestones, organising meetings and maintaining accurate project records. Success in this role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment. The Project Support Officer is a key contributor to effective communication, stakeholder coordination and smooth project delivery across the team.
