- Salary Range: $84,058 - $104,379 pro rata, plus superannuation
About the role
South West Healthcare is seeking applications from suitably qualified Registered Nurses for a fixed-term leave cover position within the Day Oncology Unit.
Our Day Oncology Unit is a modern 10-chair ambulatory cancer treatment service providing chemotherapy, immunotherapy and supportive therapies Monday to Thursday. The unit delivers high quality, patient centred care in a welcoming environment, supporting patients throughout their cancer treatment journey.
Working as part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team that includes Oncologists, Haematologists, Pharmacists and Cancer Clinical Nurse Consultants, you will provide evidence based clinical care, education and emotional support to patients and their families in a specialist outpatient setting. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team committed to delivering safe, compassionate and person centred cancer care.
What you bring
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated experience in oncology nursing (postgraduate qualifications desirable)
- A strong commitment to patient-centred care, with the ability to support the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients and their families
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up to date with best practice in cancer care
