DFFH Tertiary Student Placement
DFFH Tertiary Student Placement
The Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (the department) hosts over 250 students each year.
Our student placement program offers the opportunity to gain broad knowledge of the work we do, while applying theory to practice.
We work in a variety of community-based settings, including people's homes, residential facilities and secure settings across metropolitan, rural and regional Victoria.
The department offers students the opportunity to apply the theory and skills they have gained while studying in a professional workplace.
Placements are high quality, supervised and professionally challenging. Students on placement are allocated selected tasks and experiences. These tasks provide learning opportunities appropriate to developing skills, knowledge, and competency.
