- Grade 1 Salary Range: $44.65 - 54.32 per hour, including casual loading
- Grade 2 Salary Range: $57.08 - 65.61 per hour, including casual loading
About the role
South West Healthcare's (SWH) Physiotherapy Department provides best-practice, patient-centred care across a variety of inpatient and community settings.
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapists to join our team of 23 Physiotherapists, 9 Allied Health Assistants and 2 Exercise Physiologists. This casual Grade 1 or Grade 2 position (dependent on experience) offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of clinical areas, including acute medical and surgical wards, ICU, rehabilitation, and community-based musculoskeletal and rehabilitation programs delivered in both centre-based and home settings.
For Grade 2 Physiotherapists, additional opportunities include:
- Mentoring junior staff, Allied Health Assistants and students
- Contributing to quality improvement initiatives and service development
- Providing clinical leadership and supporting evidence-based practice within the multidisciplinary team
What you bring
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy (or equivalent qualification)
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist
- Demonstrated ability to assess, plan and deliver physiotherapy services across a range of clinical settings
- Strong clinical reasoning, assessment and treatment skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, professional standards and contemporary physiotherapy practice
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, quality improvement and ongoing professional development
- New graduates and experienced Physiotherapists are encouraged to apply.
For Grade 2 applicants, you will also demonstrate:
- Experience providing clinical supervision, mentoring and support to junior staff, Allied Health Assistants and students
- The ability to contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives
