Position Details
THE ROLE
The (New) Social Housing Business Insights Team is a newly established team working across Homes Victoria and with service delivery partners to provide timely and actionable information to understand service delivery trends and support performance improvement in both public and community housing. The unit interprets qualitative and quantitative data to generate insights that help Homes Victoria to understand the drivers of outcomes and the likelihood of services achieving key performance indicators. Working closely with policy, delivery, operational and data teams the Business insights team translates data into decision ready information through examination of performance reporting, conducting deep dive analysis, and preparing service delivery forecasts to identify risks, opportunities and areas for improvement. The team also coordinates specialist business input from across the Branch to housing IT strategy, IT projects and information management directions.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Support and assist the Manager, Social Housing Business Insights in the in the analysis of data related to service delivery provision in public and community housing.
- Provide timely, high quality and accurate information in response to requests for advice on service delivery issues and trends.
- Provide advice and guidance on access to and availability of various data sources to inform decision making.
