At the Workplace Injury Commission, we've helped thousands of injured workers and employers to resolve their disputes and move forward with their lives. We're a robust Victorian Government statutory authority that's making an impact.
The Project Officer will play a key role in supporting the Elevate Project team to deliver a SaaS technology project to replace a major legacy system. This role is suited to a highly motivated and experienced professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performing project environment and is passionate about contributing to a significant organisational uplift.
Focused on project delivery execution, the Project Officer will support the implementation of project management plans, coordinate planning activities, manage client relationships, engage with consultants and contractors, and delivery of best practice compliance, monitoring, and reporting. The role will also contribute to analysing project performance, identifying risks and issues, and providing actionable insights and recommendations to support informed decision-making and successful project outcomes.
Who we're looking for:
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience supporting the delivery of technology or business transformation projects
- Strong skills in project coordination, reporting, documentation and governance.
- The ability to identify and manage project risks, issues and dependencies.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- A proactive, organised and collaborative approach to project delivery.
