- Salary Range: $38.45 per hour including casual loading (excluding super and applicable shift loadings, penalties and allowances)
About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking enthusiastic, professional, and customer-focused individuals to join our Receptionist/Switchboard team on a casual basis.
In this varied and dynamic role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff, delivering a high standard of customer service across multiple functions.
This role requires flexibility to work across a rotating roster between 6:45am and 9:15pm, including weekends and public holidays.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing reception services at the Main Entrance of Warrnambool Base Hospital
- Operating the hospital's switchboard efficiently and professionally
- Coordinating courier services
- Assisting with retail shop operations and cashier functions
- Performing general administrative and office duties as required
What you bring
You are a reliable and adaptable team player with well-developed communication, organisational, and time management skills. You take pride in delivering exceptional customer service and thrive in a fast-paced environment, confidently managing competing priorities.
You will demonstrate a high level of professionalism, along with sound proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Strong attention to detail, accurate data entry skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision are essential to succeed in this role.
