Job Description
South West Healthcare is seeking a Consumer Advisor to join its Board Consumer Experience Committee.
This committee provides advice and input to support good governance of consumer experience across the organisation. It helps guide how consumer feedback, partnership and improvement activities are considered at a committee level.
We are looking for a person who can bring:
- an interest in improving healthcare services
- an understanding of governance, including oversight, accountability and quality improvement
- a commitment to diversity, inclusion and fair access for all members of the community
We are particularly interested in hearing from people who can bring the perspective of seldom heard and underrepresented consumer groups. This is important to help ensure the committee is informed by a broad range of community voices and experiences.
This role is an opportunity to contribute to:
- oversight of consumer experience priorities
- discussion of issues that affect consumers, carers and families
- strengthening diversity and inclusion in how healthcare services are planned and improved
