About Us
Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission.
Collectively, Victoria's Supreme, County, Magistrates', Children's, and Coroners courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Judicial College of Victoria, the Judicial Commission of Victoria, and Court Services Victoria (CSV) are referred to as the ‘Courts Group'.

The Communications division
The Corporate and Internal Communications Team supports leadership initiatives, manages intranet content, disseminates internal news, and oversees branding efforts while also contributing to the development of annual reports for the organisation.
About the Role
CSV's Corporate and Internal Communications team is seeking expressions of interest for a VPS-4 Corporate Communications Adviser. This is a key role within Court Services Victoria's Communications Team and is primarily anchored to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT). The role will cover a period of parental leave from 1 June 2026 until mid-May 2027.
Key accountabilities and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Produce and oversee VCAT's internal staff newsletter.
- Oversee and run VCAT all-staff online Town Hall meetings.
- Write and distribute corporate messages, including from the President and CEO of VCAT.
- Manage Intranet content for VCAT.
- Coordinate and assist with the development of VCAT's annual report.
- Adhere to internal communication guidelines and train team members on communication best practices as appropriate.
- Collaborate with other communications staff at VCAT and across the broader Courts Group.
- Assist with branding activities as directed.
- Provide internal communications support for internal VCAT projects strategies.
- Adhere to internal communication guidelines and train team members on communication best practices as appropriate.
About You
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in creating and implementing comprehensive internal communication plans aligned with organisational goals.
- Proven ability to manage and improve internal communication channels and employee engagement initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience working in a communications team, or similar.
