Senior Project Officer, Women's Maternal & Child Health

About the role: 

The Senior Project Officer position will play a key role in leading on the delivery of program management functions, program priorities and strategic projects. This includes high level stakeholder and partnership management, strategic project planning and delivery, managing complex end-to-end procurement processes and ongoing contract management.

The role will work collaboratively across the Unit, the Division and Department and with external stakeholders to deliver program and system improvements to underpin a strong, responsive and high-quality service system.

About you:

• A tertiary qualification in fields related to public policy/administration, health administration, or business management is highly desirable.   
• A sound understanding of the Victorian health system, and knowledge of the department and its operating processes and information systems is essential. 
• Extensive experience in public policy, government coordination, or equivalent area is essential
