Understanding the roles
To become a Child Protection Practitioner, you need a relevant qualification. But don't worry if you do not have one yet! We have roles for different experience levels.
Here is a simple guide that explains our positions:
- Practice Support (CPP2): No experience or qualifications needed. A great way to start!
- Practitioner (CPP3): Relevant qualification required.
- Advanced Practitioner (CPP4): Qualification plus at least 2 years of work experience.
- Senior Practitioner (CPP5): Qualification plus 4 or more years of experience.
- Practice Leader (CPP6): Qualification plus extensive leadership experience.
