The impact you'll have:

At the Workplace Injury Commission (WIC), we've helped thousands of injured workers and employers to resolve their disputes and move forward with their lives. We're a robust Victorian Government statutory authority that's making an impact.

As we continue through an exciting time of transformation here at WIC, we need you to join us as a Senior Business Analyst. You will play a key role in delivering major transformation initiatives, including the implementation of our new Case Management System (CMS). Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you will analyse business needs, improve processes, and help design solutions that enhance the way we work and deliver services.

Equipped with your expertise, you will lead requirements gathering, facilitate workshops, document business processes, and provide expert advice on solution options, risks and impacts. Partnering with operational teams, digital specialists and external vendors, you will ensure solutions are practical, user-focused and aligned to organisational goals.

Who we're looking for:

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Business Analyst in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments (government preferred).
• Expertise in requirements gathering, process analysis (BPMN 2.0), business rules definition and BA documentation.
• Experience developing policies, procedures and SOPs, supporting service redesign and improving user experience.
• Experience delivering end-to-end blueprints and capability maps to support large-scale Target eOperating Model or business transformation initiatives.
• Strong background in value stream analysis and process mapping to identify inefficiencies, improve service delivery and ensure operational designs align with enterprise architecture frameworks
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship‑building capability
