Position Overview
- Employment Type: Part time, 16 hours per fortnight
- Fixed Term September 2026 - February 2027
- Classification: Nurse / Midwife Manager - not elsewhere classified (ZB4)
- Salary: $130,582.40 per annum + superannuation pro rata
About the role
South West Healthcare invites applications for the fixed term opportunity of Manager Specialist Outpatient Clinics.
This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key management position, providing dynamic leadership, governance, and oversight of our clinics. Responsibilities include strategic planning to address community needs, and monitoring existing clinics to ensure they operate safely, efficiently, and effectively.
The Manager of Specialist Outpatient Clinics will have overall responsibility for the Specialist Clinics at SWH, implementing the outpatient clinic business plan, which encompasses staffing, finances, relationships, and outcomes.
Position Requirements
- A Registered Nurse holding a current Registration Certificate as required by AHPRA
- A minimum of four years post graduate nursing experience.
- Demonstrated highly developed organisational, interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated finance and budget skills.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
- High proficiency in using, demonstrating and reporting in Information Technology (IT) solutions.
- Experience in relevant healthcare accreditation.
- Demonstrated commitment and ability to implement and work within an integrated healthcare
- Demonstrated management ability particularly in the areas of service rationalisation, change management, human resource, financial management and strategic planning in an Ambulatory Care setting.
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic person able to lead a team of multidisciplinary people.
- Understanding of Outpatient funding streams
