- Up to $15,900 in salary packaging, flexible hybrid work arrangement
About the role
The Administrative Services Manager will lead and support the administrative and operational services of the Family, Youth and Children's Law Melbourne teams with a focus on Child Protection. In this role, you will:
- lead and support administrative staff ensuring the team can deliver high-quality services to lawyers
- Coordinate workforce scheduling and day-to-day operations including management of the FYCL administrative services budget
- Manage workflows (and design and implementation of improved workflows)
- oversight (and improvement) of data collection systems and processes, and
- collaborate with external stakeholders such as court staff. private practitioners and internal stakeholders.
The role will also be responsible for recruitment processes, induction and training, rostered leave, occupational health and safety and equal employment opportunities policies and guidelines for the Family, Youth and Children's Law Melbourne administrative team. The role will work closely alongside another co-ASM.
This role is based at our Melbourne CBD office on Wurundjeri Country.
About you
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
- Experience in managing, and supervising staff (highly desirable).
- A general knowledge of the law, legal systems and legal procedures (highly desirable).
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating administrative services.
- Highly proficient IT skills
- Proven ability to manage and adapt to organisational and technological change within the working environment and facilitate change management initiatives as required and directed by the organisation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
