The North West Metropolitan Area delivers a range of justice and regulation services to the 1.8 million Victorians who live in the northern and western parts of Melbourne.
Community Correctional Services (CCS) is a state-wide service providing for the management of offenders on court orders, serious sex offenders on post sentence supervision and prisoners on parole.
About the role
As the Justice Officer - CCS Support, you will provide administration support to the CCS management team to assist in the delivery of services that help offenders break the cycle of offending, ensures court and parole order conditions are met and, where they are not, prosecute breaches in court or engage with the Adult Parole Board.
The role will require travel to various locations across the area.
In the North Metropolitan Region, the position will work across two CCS locations: Carlton and Broadmeadows.
In the North East Metropolitan Region, the position will work across four CCS locations: Reservoir, Heidelberg, Thomastown and South Morang.
