IBAC is Victoria's anti-corruption agency responsible for preventing and exposing public sector corruption and police misconduct. We do this by:

  • investigating and exposing corruption and police misconduct
  • informing the public sector, police and the community about the risks and impacts of corruption and police misconduct, and ways in which it can be prevented.

We have an opportunity for a communication officer who wants to contribute their skills to help IBAC do its important work, and to develop as a communication professional in a well-supported role.

Reporting to the Manager Communication, you will contribute to the development and implementation of communication strategies, and the delivery of communication services and support materials, including:

  • internal communications such as newsletter and intranet updates
  • researching, writing and editing for both print and digital
  • external communications including drafting media releases, briefing notes, reports
  • communication admin support.

To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience working in a similar role and be comfortable working in an issues rich, fast-paced environment. You will enjoy making a contribution as part of a team, demonstrate initiative, as well as a high degree of professionalism in your work. You will also have strong attention to detail, well-developed communication skills, and an ability to work well with others.
