Position Details

Director, Operational Co-ordination

 

  • $158,730 - $215,875  (plus Superannuation)
  • Ongoing    Full Time  (flexibility may be available)

Reporting to the Executive Director, Network Pipeline, the Director will manage project development and provide strategic direction and oversight in the management of the Transport for Victoria (TfV) Program Pipeline, affecting Victoria's long term strategic network development and involving complex interaction with stakeholders to achieve the Government's transport agenda, bringing significant economic value to the State.

The Director will provide authoritative advice on the development of projects, through options development, project definition and feasibility study development, with a focus on the future pipeline of investment in the transport system; engage with the market through the development stage to contribute to building capacity in the industry; and collaborate with delivery agencies, as the project client representative, on the implementation of investments to support the transport agenda.

The Director will also work closely across TfV, and with the Executive Director, Network Pipeline to align projects with strategies and best practice responses to ensure the Government's major infrastructure agenda is delivered over the immediate to medium term.

The position will work collaboratively with TfV and portfolio partners including the Office of the Coordinator General, Public Transport Victoria, V/Line, VicRoads, other Government departments and a wide range of industry stakeholders including local councils and the community, as well as relevant ministers and other DEDJTR Groups.
