IBAC is Victoria's anti-corruption agency responsible for preventing and exposing public sector corruption and police misconduct. We do this by:

  • investigating corruption and police misconduct
  • informing the public sector, police and the community about the risks and impacts of corruption and police misconduct, and ways in which it can be prevented.

Use your outstanding leadership skills and event management experience to lead preparations for, and delivery of, the Australian Public Sector Anti-corruption Conference in late 2019. The Principal Event Officer will play a key leadership role in developing the program, engaging with stakeholders from across Australia and managing a range of resources to deliver a successful and engaging conference. As part of IBAC's Prevention and Communication Division, you will have an important role in corruption prevention activities including helping to build the capacity of the public sector to resist corruption and misconduct.

Strong conference delivery experience, proven leadership capability and the highest standards of professionalism will enable you to succeed in this role. In addition, the successful candidate will be able to quickly build credibility, communicate with authority and clarity and have strong attention to detail.
