IBAC is Victoria's anti-corruption agency responsible for preventing and exposing public sector corruption and police misconduct. We do this by:

  • investigating and exposing corruption and police misconduct
  • informing the public sector, police and the community about the risks and impacts of corruption and police misconduct, and ways in which it can be prevented.

IBAC is looking to fill a vacancy for an experienced compliance officer with a background working in a government or similar environment.

Reporting to the Team Leader, Compliance, you will facilitate the implementation of compliance frameworks; support staff in meeting their compliance obligations through training and support; conduct audits and inspections; and contribute to continuous improvement through reviewing existing systems and processes. You will also have the ability to draft complex legal compliance reports, correspondence and procedures.

To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience working in a similar role and have a solid understanding of the relevant statutory compliance obligations of IBAC. You will enjoy making a contribution as part of a small professional team, demonstrate initiative, as well as a high degree of professionalism in your work. You will also have strong attention to detail, well-developed communication skills and an ability to work well with both internal and external stakeholders.
