Position Details

IBAC is Victoria's independent anti-corruption agency responsible for preventing and exposing public sector corruption and police misconduct. We do this by: investigating serious corruption and police misconduct; and informing the public sector, police and the community about the risks and impacts of corruption and police misconduct, and ways in which it can be prevented. Our jurisdiction covers state and local government, police, parliament and the judiciary.

An exciting opportunity exists for a highly experienced Facilities and Administration Officer to join our organisation. Reporting to the Team Leader Facilities and Security you will be responsible for ensuring IBAC assets and equipment are maintained and fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

  • Managing repairing and maintaining assets and equipment
  • Identifying, escalating and resolving Occupational Health and Safety issues
  • Facilitating the design, modification and relocation of office accommodation, including workstations and furniture.
  • Managing procurement requests, budgeting and associated paperwork, ensuring adherence to relevant policies and accuracy of records
  • Participating in the review, development and improvement of best practice processes and procedures

Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

  • Previous experience in managing building maintenance matters
  • Demonstrates significant initiative
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Exceptional time management and organisation skills
  • Follow through with tasks to ensure completion
  • Management of confidential information
  • Proactive customer service orientation
  • Strong team player
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
