ICT BUSINESS PARTNER

 

  • $118,908 - $159,124 (Plus Superannuation)
  • Fixed term (12 months)
  • Usual Work Hours: Full Time (flexibility may be available)
  • Usual work location: Melbourne, CBD (flexibility may be available)

 

The ICT Business Partner is a key conduit between the CIO's office and other divisions within DoT and transport agencies. Reporting to the CIO, the ICT Business Partner provides key skills and experience in business analysis across DoT business units and some agencies. 

The ICT Business Partner will play a key role in the successful mobilisation and delivery of ICT projects and services by managing the evolution of business requirements before and throughout the project lifecycle. Key to the success of this role is the ability to examine in detail and understand business needs, propose practical solutions to problems and use appropriate, fit-for-purpose methods to communicate with a wide variety of audiences. 

This role offers the opportunity for a skilled and experienced professional to be a valued member of the DoT ICT team, enjoy flexible work arrangements and contribute to building a strong ICT delivery culture within DoT. 

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience, knowledge and capability working within a government ICT environment, understanding issues and pressures to which the organisation has to respond to and the reasons behind the organisational climate and culture as it relates to ICT.
  • Proven experience in leading and implementing strategic initiatives and ability to translate the departments ICT strategic direction into day-to-day activities.
  • Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to consider issues from different perspectives and draw considered and sound conclusions.
